Welcome to the Electorate Office Services (EOS) Training Portal

This portal allows staff employed under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 to register for a range of Information Technology training courses. Training providers have been identified in a range of capital city and regional locations in an attempt to make attending a course easy and time efficient.

Click on the Course Schedule link in the left hand navigator to search through a list of courses by location and product.

When you find a course that meets your training needs you can submit a course registration to request approval to attend the course.

Please note that course registrations can only be accepted through this portal. Bookings cannot be made directly with a training provider.

Approval Process

Staff employed under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 are entitled to carry out training on any of our listed courses subject to approval from both your employing Senator or Member and the relevant authorising officer in the Department of Parliamentary Services.

Our online registration system will help streamline this process, and we'll keep you up-to-date via email with the progress of your registration. Once the approval process is completed we will book you a place on the course. You will be notified via email with details of the date, time and location of the training.

If a course that you need to attend is listed without a scheduled date, please submit a registration and choose ASAP as the date option. You will be contacted by our training coordinator to discuss available dates for the training.

Personal and electorate office employees may travel to learning and development activities as official business in accordance with the arrangements outlined in the staff travel determination (Determination 2018/5 – Staff Travel and Relief Staff Arrangements).
